Project / Delivery Manager

This opportunity is offered through a partner organization seeking an experienced Project / Delivery Manager based in Germany. This role focuses on leading transformation projects aimed at enhancing the efficiency and operational effectiveness of engineering teams in a fully remote setup. The selected candidate will have autonomy to optimize delivery workflows, influence key stakeholders, and implement changes that drive measurable improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end delivery processes to ensure projects meet business goals, timelines, and quality standards efficiently.
• Evaluate current workflows to pinpoint challenges and apply solutions to boost team performance and reduce time-to-market.
• Lead change management efforts by introducing new processes, frameworks, and best practices, securing strong alignment across teams.
• Apply Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and software development lifecycle principles to enhance planning and collaboration.
• Manage project scope, risks, dependencies, resource allocation, and team capacity for complex projects.
• Track and analyze delivery metrics (velocity, throughput, lead time, cycle time, cumulative flow diagrams, and burn charts) to drive continuous enhancements.
• Customize and optimize project management tools, notably Jira (workflows, automation, dashboards) and Confluence for reporting and process improvements.
• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to align objectives, communicate progress, and resolve delivery obstacles.
• Cultivate an organizational culture emphasizing ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement while maintaining a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Project or Delivery Manager with proven success in enhancing delivery processes and team performance.
• Ability to present structured case studies illustrating problem identification, solutions implementation, and resulting impact.
• Hands-on approach to implementing process improvements within software development settings.
• Strong command of Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and SDLC practices.
• Advanced proficiency with Jira (custom workflows, roles, JQL, automation, reporting) and Confluence.
• Deep understanding of delivery management encompassing scope, risk, capacity, and project decomposition.
• Competency to analyze delivery data for performance optimization and decision-making.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and influencing capabilities.
• Self-motivated, proactive with a problem-solving attitude and ability to take independent ownership.
• Resilient and able to maintain structure under complexity or pressure.
• Relevant certifications like PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, PSM I/II, KMP are advantageous.
• Experience with scaling teams or delivery frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or Nexus is a plus.
• Prior exposure to iGaming, affiliate or digital marketing, process automation, or product analytics is beneficial.
