Overview

Our esteemed global client seeks a Project Co-ordinator / PMO to join their team, working onsite in Abu Dhabi five days a week. This professional will provide essential administrative assistance to the project delivery squad focusing on large data center projects within a challenging and evolving workplace.

Key Duties

  • Gather and systematically archive Daily Task EHS documents in both electronic and physical formats to maintain comprehensive EHS records.
  • In the absence of the EHS Manager, devise toolbox talks for the team and participate actively in safety meetings.
  • Coordinate safety training sessions for new staff and visitors, collaborating with third parties to collect personnel data and required documentation.
  • Record and manage personnel information on the Data Scope System, which manages site personnel.
  • Manage delivery bookings, monitor their status, and follow up when necessary.
  • Compile and analyze timesheets to create detailed reports and statistical summaries.
  • Assist the Site and Project Managers with daily activity reports and track ongoing project progress and near-term planning (3-4 weeks).
  • Maintain a daily work schedule documenting task progressions.
  • Collect, organize, and file third-party test results and calibration certificates on SharePoint for the UPS package.
  • Similarly, collate test results from site engineers and organize them appropriately on SharePoint.

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar project coordination role within a major global corporation.
  • Hands-on experience in the construction sector is mandatory.
  • Willingness and ability to be physically present onsite in Abu Dhabi throughout the workweek.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience handling administrative responsibilities within a team or fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and general familiarity with Microsoft software products.
  • Experience or understanding of Compass, Datascope, ViewPoint, and SharePoint platforms is advantageous.
  • Approach work proactively with accountability, organizational skills, resourcefulness, and capability to collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Possession of legal authorization to work within the UAE is required.
