Overview

A respected company in the construction sector seeks an experienced Project Administrator to join their expanding team on a permanent, site-based role in Wagga Wagga, NSW. This opportunity suits candidates passionate about supporting major projects across regional NSW while contributing in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Role Summary

Collaborating closely with Project Managers and the site team, you will be essential in ensuring projects remain orderly, compliant, and run smoothly from initiation to completion.

Key Duties

  • Delivering administrative assistance to Project Managers and site teams
  • Overseeing project documentation and maintaining meticulous records
  • Managing timesheet coordination, leave applications, and new employee onboarding
  • Supporting document control processes, compliance, and project handover paperwork
  • Creating purchase orders and organizing materials and site supplies procurement
  • Handling invoice processing, delivery receipts, and aiding in project cost monitoring
  • Assisting in project reporting, forecasting, and monthly reconciliations
  • Communicating with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Supporting Workplace Health and Safety administration and ensuring site documentation compliance
  • Providing general project administrative support to facilitate the successful delivery of multiple projects

Candidate Profile

  • Prior experience in Project Administration, Site Administration or Construction Administration roles
  • Background within construction, infrastructure, or engineering industries
  • Strong organisational abilities with capability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with project management or ERP software is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills with aptitude to build relationships across diverse business levels
  • A proactive mindset with the capacity to work independently and as part of a team
  • Holding a valid White Card and current driver's licence
