Role Overview

This permanent full-time position is based at Hendon, South Australia, reporting directly to the Operations Manager. The Production Planner will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating production activities at Lietzke Doors to meet production volumes, quality expectations, and material sourcing aligned with business goals. This role involves close interaction with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations and desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage production schedules by effectively allocating both human and mechanical resources.
  • Create and maintain rolling production schedules utilizing planning tools to fulfill forecasted finished goods requirements.
  • Develop, analyze, and report demand variances to support Sales and Operations planning processes.
  • Work within capacity, production, and material limitations while minimizing disruption to customers and reducing unexpected schedule changes.
  • Enhance forecast accuracy and implement continuous process improvements.
  • Build and sustain strong working relationships with suppliers, customers, and various stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for consistent application, adequate training, and high-quality standards.

  • Industry experience related to assembly and machining techniques.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and comprehending workshop drawings.
  • Completion of a Production Certificate or equivalent qualification, supplemented by experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
