Role Overview

The Production Foreman role, based on-site at the Accra facility, entails managing daily activities on the production floor. The successful candidate will ensure manufacturing goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards. Core duties involve task allocation for production workers, overseeing workflow, scheduling production runs, and addressing operational challenges promptly. Collaboration with quality control, maintenance, and warehousing teams is essential to minimize downtime, enhance processes, and ensure proper production documentation. The position demands constant shop floor presence, transparent communication with team members and management, and active involvement in continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven supervisory capabilities including team leadership, coordinating personnel, and monitoring performance
• Competence in production planning and management to efficiently schedule resources and meet targets
• Strong communication skills facilitating clear instructions, reporting, and teamwork across departments
• Expertise in quality control to uphold product standards, safety procedures, and support corrective measures
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings with knowledge of health and safety regulations is advantageous
• Basic data recording and reporting skills
• Preferred qualifications include a technical or vocational certificate in production, engineering, or related disciplines, coupled with previous supervisory experience
