Product Specialist

Role overview

Vodafone is looking for a Product Specialist to own and guide the full lifecycle of customer-facing digital products across a mobile money app, merchant-facing interfaces, and internal back-office tools in Doha, Qatar.

What you will do

• Lead the product journey from planning through launch and ongoing improvement for mobile money, merchant, and back-office platforms.
• Develop digital product direction and roadmaps that support current business priorities while also preparing for future growth.
• Work closely with engineering and technical teams to monitor platform stability, coordinate upgrades, and support system changes.
• Champion a strong customer experience by helping create a clear and meaningful difference in the end-to-end user journey.
• Identify emerging trends and proven practices from other industries and apply them to improve the current user experience.

What you need

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience delivering products in either B2B or B2C environments, with hands-on ownership of product vision and execution.
• Background in mobile financial services or banking product delivery will be considered a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical ideas clearly to non-technical audiences.
• A demonstrated record of building and executing product strategies successfully.
• Ability to collaborate across diverse business functions, influence stakeholders, and bring teams along with the plan.
• Comfort with budget responsibility and day-to-day financial oversight.
• Experience managing suppliers and external vendors effectively.
