Job description

About the Role

We are seeking a Product Manager to lead development on the core VectorShift builder platform, which includes the canvas, agents, integrations, and features enabling non-technical users to deploy AI products effectively. This key position involves close collaboration with company founders and engineering leaders, with substantial responsibility from the outset. The role focuses on scaling the platform to support pilots with multiple enterprises generating over a billion dollars in revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the builder platform by enhancing UI/UX, advancing the "text to product" experience (allowing users to describe workflows in natural language), and maintaining platform stability through extensive automated testing.
  • Initiate and deliver new products and features from concept through launch as market needs evolve.
  • Improve existing products including builder, agents, integrations, and deployment interfaces by adding depth, polish, and completeness.
  • Monitor competitor no-code AI and agent-building platforms to identify critical gaps and inform development priorities.
  • Manage platform operations like templates, documentation, and tutorial materials.
  • Collaborate closely with design and engineering teams to define requirements, prototype quickly, and ensure alignment throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Meet tight deadlines by breaking work into deliverable components, promptly resolving issues, and leading releases without sacrificing quality.

Candidate Requirements

  • Approximately 1 to 2 years of product management experience, with a strong emphasis on intelligence and good judgment rather than length of tenure.
  • Resourceful and proactive approach: capable of prototyping with AI tools and building demos independently without waiting for full information or approval.
  • High sense of urgency with a preference for rapid iteration and delivery within days rather than weeks.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, including hands-on involvement in quality assurance and bug detection before product release.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to operate effectively in fast-paced environments, writing clear specifications and managing engineering processes smoothly.
  • Basic familiarity with computer science concepts is advantageous but not mandatory; comfortable engaging in technical discussions and troubleshooting features as needed.
  • Experience with no-code platforms such as workflow builders or automation tools is a beneficial plus.

About VectorShift

VectorShift specializes in tools that enable rapid creation of customized AI workflows. Its no-code platform empowers end-users to run and adjust AI pipelines effortlessly, while developers can deploy sophisticated AI chains directly to users through APIs and SDKs. The company is expanding its core platform and collaborating with several billion-dollar revenue enterprises on pilot projects addressing significant use cases.
