Overview
Dizario Search is seeking a Product Manager to support a leading global manufacturing firm specializing in building materials. This remote role within the United States involves steering product strategy, driving innovation, and overseeing the full lifecycle of a key product line. The Product Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional departments including R&D, operations, supply chain, sales, and customer service to capitalize on market opportunities and foster product growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Steer product strategy and innovation initiatives along with new product development for an assigned product line.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle from early concept and market validation through launch and continuous enhancement.
- Perform voice-of-customer research and field testing to uncover customer needs and opportunities for new products.
- Create multi-generational product roadmaps and validate concepts through detailed market research and customer feedback.
- Work collaboratively across R&D, operations, supply chain, sales, and customer support to ensure alignment on product objectives and execution.
- Lead prioritization and decision-making processes to promote sustained product success.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, new technologies, competitive products, and market developments to identify growth prospects.
- Manage resources related to the product line, including certifications, compliance, and product documentation.
- Support and advance sustainability efforts and necessary product certifications.
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and operational plans for the product line.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to product support teams.
- Coordinate with international teams for global expansion initiatives.
- Represent the company at industry associations and professional groups.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum five years of experience in product management, product marketing, or new product development within the building materials sector.
- In-depth understanding of building materials markets, customer requirements, and industry trends.
- Proven experience managing product lifecycles, driving innovation, and long-term product planning.
- Strong skills in project management, analysis, and problem-solving.
- Experience collaborating with R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and sales groups.
- Availability to travel approximately 35-40% of the time.
