Role Overview

We are seeking our inaugural permanent Product Manager at TripBooka. This rare chance to join an emerging startup places you in a key position to define and drive the evolution of our product. You will collaborate closely with founders, engineering teams, and designers to determine which features we build, why they matter, and how they deliver customer value.

A significant part of your role involves understanding the needs of independent travel advisors and travelers, transforming customer insights into tactical product enhancements, and recognizing how AI can be leveraged to simplify workflows, automate routine tasks, and create unique experiences that differentiate TripBooka.

This is a full-time remote role based in the UK, with occasional in-person meetings in Newcastle upon Tyne for team planning and collaborative sessions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage features throughout their lifecycle from discovery to deployment and ongoing refinement.
• Engage directly with customers to grasp their challenges and aspirations.
• Identify and implement AI-driven solutions that address customer issues and provide competitive edges.
• Convert customer feedback into detailed product requirements and prioritized development roadmaps.
• Work closely with Engineering and Design teams to deliver seamless and high-quality user experiences.
• Create clear product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize development initiatives by evaluating customer impact, business value, and technical feasibility.
• Analyze product metrics, customer feedback, and usage patterns to guide product strategies.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Marketing, and founders to align product efforts with company objectives.
• Advocate for the customer’s perspective across all organizational levels.

Desired Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Product Manager or related product-centric role.
• Strong empathy for customers and enthusiasm for resolving significant challenges.
• Keen interest in AI and emerging technologies, with the ability to apply them practically to enhance customer value.
• Outstanding communication skills with a talent for influencing and aligning diverse stakeholders.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams, including collaborating closely with Engineering and Design.
• Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Aptitude for prioritizing tasks effectively within a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive approach, confident in challenging assumptions and making data-driven decisions.

Experience in SaaS, marketplaces, AI-driven products, or the travel sector is advantageous but not mandatory. We encourage applications from candidates with the right mindset and potential, even if some qualifications are not fully met.
