Role Overview

As a Product Designer on the Ordering team, you will lead the comprehensive user experience design of a web application tailored for corporate users managing grocery replenishment across numerous departments nationwide. You will transform complex AI-generated forecasts into actionable, user-friendly decisions in collaboration with product managers, machine learning engineers, and software engineers. Your dedication and precision will contribute directly to decreasing food waste and generating substantial business impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the complete design process for a web-based platform focused on ordering, exception handling, configuration, and performance aspects for grocery replenishment stakeholders.
• Create informative reporting, insights, and performance dashboards progressing toward advanced conversational AI analytics.
• Develop exception-driven workflows and controls that empower corporate users to manage operations without requiring technical expertise.
• Design agentic and conversational interfaces that simplify AI-derived insights for users with varied technical backgrounds.
• Oversee the user experience for shared portal services like administration, permissions, authorization, and multi-role functionalities.
• Build and maintain reusable UI components to ensure consistent user experience throughout the portal.
• Collaborate closely with the Ordering product and engineering teams to rapidly deliver features using cutting-edge AI-assisted design tools, while partnering with design leadership to harmonize cross-product experiences.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven senior-level experience designing customer-facing software products that deliver measurable results.
• In-depth background in enterprise SaaS platforms, managing complex systems with diverse user groups.
• Product-oriented mindset combined with technical proficiency, comfortable coding designs directly rather than producing static mockups.
• Strong systems thinking ability, crafting reusable design patterns and cohesive navigation across multiple products and interfaces.
• Expertise using modern AI-assisted tools for rapid prototyping, exploration, and synthesizing design solutions.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams including product, engineering, and design.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing AI-enhanced products featuring conversational interfaces, anomaly detection, or agentic workflows.
• Familiarity with enterprise experiences featuring multi-role permissions and hierarchical access control.

Compensation and Benefits

The US salary range for this position is $138,000 to $187,000 annually.
