Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and clear zoning in the produce department to ensure it is customer-ready at all times.
• Regularly rotate stock and remove expired items to preserve product freshness and quality.
• Ensure accurate pricing and signage for all produce items, following protocols for ordering, clearances, markups, markdowns, labels, and signage compliance.
• Adhere to food safety standards including proper sanitation, temperature monitoring, and correct handling based on sell-by and expiration dates.
• Stock merchandise appropriately, including setting modular displays and applying protective measures to products.
• Comply with health and safety policies to maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Be flexible with work schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support smooth store operations and consistent customer service.

Challenges in This Position

• Handle a high volume of tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing overnight shifts with proper planning to stay alert and focused.
• Perform physical demands such as prolonged standing, bending, and lifting inventory weighing up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Complete repetitive stock organizing tasks diligently to maintain store standards.

Compensation

The starting wage for this role is $18.70 per hour.
