Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper zoning of the produce area to ensure it is presentable for customers at all times.
• Regularly rotate stock and promptly remove expired or substandard items to guarantee product freshness and quality.
• Verify correct pricing and signage, executing procedures related to ordering, clearance, markups, markdowns, labeling, and displays accurately.
• Adhere strictly to food safety protocols and cold chain standards, including temperature monitoring, thermometer usage, appropriate food handling, and compliance with sell-by and expiration dates.
• Restock and remove merchandise as needed, apply product protection measures, and arrange display units such as modulars, flex modulars, and shelf caps to maintain inventory levels.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require, supporting a smooth store operation and consistent high-quality customer service.

Work Environment Challenges

• Manage a high volume of tasks in a fast-paced retail environment, balancing overnight shifts with effective planning to maintain focus and energy.
• Perform physical duties such as standing for long periods, bending, lifting items weighing up to 20 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs, along with repetitive tasks like stocking and zoning while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.

Compensation

The position offers a starting hourly wage of $18.05.
