Overview
This role involves managing tactical procurement activities for specific categories or service lines with a focus on supplier management, compliance, and tracking performance. It aims to enhance procurement processes, achieve cost savings, and support digital transformation efforts to improve efficiency and strategic alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the complete RFQ process for tactical categories, ensuring optimal supplier selection and cost efficiency.
- Analyze procurement KPIs for assigned categories to identify areas for improvement and address escalations for closing open purchase orders in coordination with service line management.
- Review and update procurement procedures to maintain accuracy and continuous process enhancements.
- Conduct investigations to uphold compliance and data integrity, strengthening governance and transparency.
- Develop spend baselines and business cases with forecasts to improve category performance visibility and inform strategic decisions.
- Achieve savings targets by delivering cost optimizations for the portfolio under management.
- Implement supplier performance scorecards and oversee medium-risk contracts to ensure accountability and consistent supplier service levels.
- Support and facilitate SAP approval workflows to streamline digital procurement operations and minimize delays.
General Duties
- Keep abreast of supply chain demands, procurement regulations, and industry best practices.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Compliance
- Follow QHSSE standards to guarantee safety, quality, and environmental responsibility in contract execution.
- Adhere rigorously to the Group Compliance Manual and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Operate with integrity by complying with ethics and compliance policies.
- Comply with established supply chain standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required.
- Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent are preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain operations is mandatory.
- Experience in the Oilfield Services & Equipment (OFSE) industry is desirable.
