Role Responsibilities
- Lead and execute process engineering tasks related to project and proposal units, ensuring they meet budget, quality, and timeline expectations.
- Supervise adherence to procedures and project specifications throughout project execution.
- Fully grasp and communicate project and contract scopes within the team.
- Participate actively in meetings with project management and clients as necessary.
- Identify deviations from project goals promptly and escalate to the Process Leader.
- Monitor project schedules and provide updates for weekly progress reports as well as the Plan4E system.
- Ensure compliance with project working methodologies and monitor non-value-added tasks and deviations, reporting them appropriately.
- Authorize documentation produced within the unit and oversee changes to minimize impacts, effectively communicating changes through formal channels if needed.
- Critically review and monitor changes' impacts on process diagrams (P&IDs) and line lists, guaranteeing quality assurance by applying strict verification procedures.
Candidate Requirements
- Holding a valid MMUP/UPDA First Category engineer certification with residency in Qatar is mandatory.
- Possess a minimum of 12 to 15 years of experience in engineering, with significant experience in Qatar or the GCC region.
- Academic qualifications must include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Demonstrated strong engineering expertise and project experience, especially on significant projects in Qatar.
- In-depth knowledge of Qatar’s engineering standards, regulations, and project criteria.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and technical capabilities.
