Role Overview

We invite you to join our North Dublin Oral Solid Dose manufacturing site as a PMO Manager. In this pivotal role, you will lead the Program Management Office on site to assure project excellence, governance, and successful delivery of essential initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the site PMO function including project managers and resources to foster aligned project success across functions.
  • Manage a broad spectrum of initiatives encompassing strategic projects, New Product Introductions (NPI), and capital expenditures (CAPEX).
  • Establish, implement, and continuously improve project management processes, methodologies, and standards.
  • Supervise the project portfolio with responsibilities from project intake and prioritization to resource allocation, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Report project status, risks, and milestones to senior site leadership including Site Head and Operations Director.
  • Ensure rigorous risk management, issue tracking, and change control processes are in place across active projects.
  • Drive standardization of project methodologies and documentation to uphold compliance with quality, regulatory, and audit-readiness standards.
  • Act as the main escalation point for project-related issues, risks, and change management.
  • Promote collaboration among matrix functions such as Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Regulatory to achieve technical project goals.
  • Guarantee that projects meet timelines, scope, budgets, and site business objectives.
  • Support continuous improvement via data-driven project performance assessment and lessons learned analysis.
  • Align the PMO's efforts with Business and Operational Excellence programs to support governance and improvement projects.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' project management experience within pharmaceutical, biotech manufacturing, or a comparable regulated environment.
  • Proven leadership managing teams or PMO operations in a manufacturing context.
  • Strong familiarity with project management frameworks such as PMBOK or PRINCE2 to establish project governance, risk management, and stage-gate processes.
  • Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence approaches within regulated manufacturing settings.
  • History of managing complex, cross-functional projects effectively.
  • Excellent skills in stakeholder management, communication, and presentation.
  • Experience in risk, resource, and change control management.
  • Proficiency in project portfolio management software and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Certification in PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent is preferred.
