Planning Coordinator

About the Role

As a Planning Coordinator reporting to the Planning Manager, you will play an essential role within the Planning Service Team by managing daily planning activities to enhance efficiency in forecasting, scheduling, and manufacturing products that meet customer demands while adhering to safety, quality, and timeliness standards. This role is based onsite, Monday through Friday, in Forrestfield, Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently plan and monitor daily production conditions, manufacturing schedules, and dispatch requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the Planning Team to refine Finite Capacity Planning and continuously update them on progress.
• Maintain relevance and accuracy of planning system parameters, procedures, and processes related to manufacturability.
• Understand and address customer needs and machine capabilities while resolving any customer-related issues.
• Deliver daily progress reports to internal stakeholders, highlighting plan variances and corrective actions.

Required Skills and Experience

• Familiarity with planning management systems is advantageous.
• Experience or working knowledge of production processes in manufacturing or a related environment.
• Knowledge of industry software such as SPARKS, JDE, ARMA, or SAP is desirable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
