Role Overview

We are seeking a Pizza Maker proficient in crafting roman-style pizza alla pala adhering closely to our traditional Italian recipes. This position reports directly to the Bakery & Pala Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare pizzas by following set recipes precisely.
• Adhere strictly to established portion sizes, quality benchmarks, and departmental guidelines, including rules and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the food preparation area in line with governmental health standards.
• Progressively acquire proficiency across all pizza production shifts.
• Support Sales Associates when required and interact with guests interested in the pizza-making process.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned to contribute to department success.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of one year experience in a kitchen production role.
• Strong work ethic complemented by effective communication and time management abilities.
• Availability for onsite shifts with flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Capacity to lift weights up to 50 pounds safely.
• Physical stamina to perform standing, walking, bending, and squatting for up to eight hours at a moderate pace.
• Experience or comfort working with wood-burning ovens, electric convection pizza ovens, and commercial spiral mixers.
