Position Overview

As an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, the Physiotherapist will assess, consult, and educate patients, their families, and healthcare professionals across diverse clinical areas including critical care, respirology, medicine, stroke, surgery, and emergency departments. The role involves providing physiotherapy services to patients at the hospital and its partner sites. The successful candidate will contribute to program development and evaluation efforts, attend team meetings regularly, liaise with community healthcare providers, advocate for patients and families, and engage in inter-professional patient and family conferences when required.

The primary area of responsibility will be medicine, with flexibility to adapt based on operational demands. Weekend rotations are a required element of the position.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Master's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • Current membership in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
