Role Overview
The New Plymouth location of TBI Health is seeking an experienced musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist to join their expanding service areas, including Hāwera. This position is excellently suited for professionals who enjoy mentoring and aim to grow leadership capabilities while providing top-tier rehabilitation care in a collaborative clinical setting. Although Senior Physiotherapists are particularly encouraged to apply, applicants with solid MSK physiotherapy expertise dedicated to rehabilitation excellence are welcomed.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and rehabilitation services in line with ACC contractual standards.
- Support, supervise, and train graduate physiotherapists and students.
- Plan and manage physiotherapy care, including evaluation and patient progress monitoring.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate discharge planning and ongoing patient care.
- Provide accurate clinical evaluations and patient education.
- Engage actively in pain management programs and assist in developing treatment protocols.
Skills and Experience
- Advanced musculoskeletal physiotherapy skills and dedication to clinical quality.
- Established leadership experience or a strong motivation to develop leadership roles.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary setup.
- Customer-oriented with strong interpersonal skills, empathy, professionalism, and commitment to personal and professional growth.
- Current APC, professional association membership, and indemnity insurance.
- Full and clean New Zealand driver’s license.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy.
