As a certified pest control technician based in Kentville, NS, you will utilize innovative tools and techniques to safeguard numerous residential and commercial properties across Canada.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled inspections of property interiors and exteriors to pinpoint infestation origins, assess damage severity, and locate pest access points.
• Apply pest control treatments using mechanical or electric sprayers and deploy traps following regulatory standards.
• Provide clients with advice on preventive measures against future pest infestations.
• Operate company-provided vehicles and maintain pest control equipment in good working order.
• Foster positive client relationships by demonstrating courteous, friendly, and helpful behavior during service calls.
• Identify opportunities to offer clients additional valuable services.
• Review preliminary infestation reports to determine appropriate treatment plans that eradicate pests and prevent recurrence.
• Ensure thorough electronic documentation of all work completed after each visit.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a valid full driver's license and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
• Completion of high school diploma or an equivalent certification.
• Between one and two years of experience in customer-facing roles or route-based work.
• Successful clearance of pre-employment background screening.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain Structural Exterminator licensing in the province, with support from management.
• Availability to work primarily Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend or on-call shifts.
• Capacity to work independently upon completion of training.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and time management abilities.
• High attention to detail.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers an annual salary between $38,000 and $42,000. Additional benefits include:
