Key Responsibilities

• Deliver full homemaking support, including cleaning, meal preparation, laundry, and household management tasks.
• Provide companionship and accompany clients to local community events and engagements.
• Administer personal care aligned with specific care plans.
• Ensure clients’ physical, emotional, and spiritual safety and comfort at the highest standards.
• Assist with daily living activities customized to each client’s requirements.
• Perform specialized care procedures following appropriate training and demonstrating current competency.
• Monitor and document client conditions accurately, promptly reporting any unusual changes to supervisors.
• Follow infection prevention protocols diligently.

Candidate Requirements

• Successful completion of an accredited caregiver training program or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong understanding of caregiving principles alongside customer service skills.
• Effective spoken and written communication in English; knowledge of French is advantageous.
• Capability to provide quality client care based on updated community care practices.
• Physical fitness to assist with clients’ mobility, including lifting up to 23 kilograms and performing movements like squatting and bending.
• Possession of a dependable transportation mode; a driving license and vehicle are assets.
• Ability to furnish a clear criminal record and Vulnerable Sector Check.
