About the Role
TD Canada Trust places great emphasis on building strong, enduring relationships with customers by delivering a wide array of customer service transactions and offering advice on products and services. Key Responsibilities
- Engage customers daily by addressing their advisory needs, facilitating service transactions, educating on digital platforms, and resolving issues related to banking solutions.
- Assess customer requirements and direct them to relevant team members for appropriate solutions, handling confidential information with discretion.
- Build trust with customers by educating them on digital banking trends including mobile, ATM, and online banking.
- Assist frontline staff with both scheduled cash and non-cash transactions, escalate critical problems, and report unusual matters to management.
- Suggest enhancements to operational practices and branch workflows to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of business processes and procedural documentation consistent with regulations and TD’s Code of Conduct.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace by promoting team collaboration, engaging in personal development, and sharing industry insights to achieve shared goals.
Qualifications and Skills
- Completion of high school diploma and/or minimum one year of relevant experience.
- Obligation to obtain Investment Funds Canada (IFC) accreditation or equivalent within six months after appointment.
- Post-secondary education or undergraduate degree in a related field is preferred.
- Competency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), branch software systems, and internet usage.
- Good understanding of banking products and procedures to provide customer guidance.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational, administrative, planning, and time management capabilities to operate independently in a dynamic setting.
- Energetic and proactive with a can-do mindset to manage multiple priorities and tasks.
- Effective communicator with proven skills in customer engagement, both verbal and written, ensuring courteous interaction with customers and teams.
Additional Terms
This position requires geographical mobility within the assigned district. Upon completing the training program, candidates will be assigned to suitable roles, which might involve relocation to another TD branch within the region. Candidates must accept this geographic mobility condition as part of their employment.
Work Conditions and Compensation
Work location is Brampton, Ontario, Canada with full-time hours of 37.5 per week. The compensation range is from $45,700 to $61,000 CAD annually. Base pay depends on candidate skills, experience, geographical location, and business needs. TD promotes equitable pay and advancement through the salary scale based on employee growth and role progression.
