About the Role
This full-time position involves conducting Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) across various commercial and retail premises, including offices and schools. Routine working hours are Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 16:30. The role also requires performing minor repairs as necessary to ensure appliance safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Portable Appliance Testing on a diverse range of commercial and retail properties.
- Carry out minor electrical repairs when required to maintain appliance functionality and safety.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience using a fully downloadable PAT instrument for testing.
- Possession of City & Guilds 2377 22/23 Testing and Inspection certification.
- Must hold a full, clean driving license.
- DBS clearance is mandatory.
- ECS/CSC card is preferred but not essential.
