About the Role
The Operations Consultant collaborates closely with the Operations Supervisor to ensure stockroom upkeep and merchandise are effectively managed. This full-time role is based at the BC-Willowbrook Langley location in Langley, British Columbia and offers flexible scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver courteous, professional, and knowledgeable client service during store hours.
- Support onboarding and training of cashiers and other consultants in the use of Point-Of-Sale (POS) and mobile POS systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cashier zones, upholding store presentation standards.
- Assist in implementing SEPHORA's merchandising concepts and participate in loss prevention programs.
- Receive and process shipments efficiently and organize the stockroom according to company guidelines.
- Handle transfers, damage reports, and testers following established procedures.
- Audit visual displays regularly and report any missing or damaged items to the Operations Supervisor.
- Maintain safety and tidiness throughout the store operations area at all times.
- Report inventory-related issues to supervisors or store management promptly.
- Comply with sampling policies and actively engage in inventory control efforts.
- Selected consultants may receive cross-training to perform cashier functions.
Qualifications and Skills
- One to two years of retail or client service experience, preferably in stockroom or inventory roles.
- Strong computer proficiency, mathematical skills, and organizational abilities.
- Capability to multitask effectively, balancing client service with operational duties.
- Demonstrated skills in time management, problem solving, and communication.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts is mandatory.
Additional Information
- Work environment includes exposure to fragrances and requires physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Tasks may involve bending and stretching when stocking shelves.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly wage ranges from $19.85 to $24.80 CAD based on qualifications and experience. Eligible employees may receive performance bonuses, access to comprehensive benefits, and participate in ongoing training programs designed to support and recognize employee contributions.
