Role Overview

We are seeking an hourly Operations Associate to enhance and manage Lugg's marketplace across multiple regions. This role requires working in shifts, including nights and weekends, supporting operations running every day of the week. You will be instrumental in ensuring sufficient market coverage during peak demand.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit and onboard independent contractors (1099 Luggers) of high quality.
• Continuously monitor supply levels across markets and proactively handle any coverage deficiencies.
• Provide timely support to contractors through phone, SMS, and email communication.
• Maintain clear and professional communication, especially during time-sensitive situations.
• Detect trends affecting marketplace performance and escalate issues as appropriate.
• Contribute insights for operational improvements drawn from frontline experience.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in marketplace operations, logistics, delivery, or gig economy roles, ideally within platforms such as DoorDash, Uber, or Instacart.
• Experience working with or supporting 1099 contractor networks is preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and strong phone presence.
• Adept at multitasking in environments with frequent interruptions.
• Quick thinker capable of making informed decisions promptly.
• Data-conscious and detail-oriented approach to work.
• Dependable, responsible, and proactive in duties.
• Spanish language proficiency is advantageous.

Work Schedule

• Hourly, non-exempt position with shift-based scheduling.
• Availability to work during nights and weekends is mandatory.
• Shift patterns include a mix of weekdays and weekend shifts.
