Operational Support - Concrete

About the Role

Become a valued member of the Allied Concrete Ready-Mix plant located in Hautapu, Cambridge. This role offers a diverse range of daily responsibilities including order processing, managing concrete production and testing, performing relief concrete deliveries, and operating machinery such as loaders at the plant.

Learning and Career Development

This position provides an excellent chance to learn on the job with full support and training provided. Although prior experience is a benefit, it is not mandatory. The company will assist with obtaining necessary certifications and licenses, including a BCITO Certificate in Concrete Production Level 4. There is clear potential for progression within the concrete industry, with opportunities to gain comprehensive knowledge in batching, dispatching, customer order handling, yard maintenance, slumping, material testing, and operating forklifts, loaders, and concrete trucks.

Candidate Requirements

• Dependability and punctuality with a strong commitment to safety.
• Good physical fitness and flexibility to accommodate early morning shifts.

• A Class 4 driver's license is preferred but not a mandatory requirement.
