Primary Duties

• Accurately pick and organize orders from various temperature-regulated areas, ensuring timeliness for customer delivery.
• Carefully pack orders, paying close attention to distinguishing similarly named products, exact quantities, and correct product codes.
• Inspect products to ensure only those of the highest quality—free from damage and fresh—are selected.
• Accurately complete all order documentation, including pick slips, packing instructions, and shipping labels, through careful interpretation.
• Maximize space efficiency in packing totes while maintaining adherence to product quality standards.
• Combine order fulfillment responsibilities with positive customer engagement and problem resolution services.
• Strictly observe safety and food hygiene standards by maintaining work areas clean and orderly, promptly cleaning spills and debris, and ensuring totes are sanitized prior to packing.
• Operate material handling equipment responsibly, performing all required safety pre-checks before use.
• Embody organizational mission and values through professional conduct.
• Engage in continuous improvement efforts, making suggestions for enhancements in operational procedures, productivity, safety, working conditions, and customer satisfaction.
• Adapt flexibly to changing work assignments to meet daily delivery deadlines and customer requests.

Compensation

The starting pay rate for this position is $17.75 per hour.
