Monitoring Operator (Operations)

Role Overview

The Monitoring Operator plays a critical role in overseeing live television and media channels to ensure content adheres strictly to company policies, regulatory standards, and client requirements. This position demands unwavering attention to multiple channels simultaneously to manage content censorship effectively and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain continuous real-time surveillance of assigned television or media channel blocks (up to six channels).
• Ensure all broadcast content complies with established guidelines and regulations.
• Quickly identify and address any inappropriate or non-compliant material during live transmissions.
• Report incidents and escalate issues as necessary to resolve content compliance challenges.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess between three to five years of relevant experience in monitoring, broadcast operations, or content moderation roles.
• Familiarity with live TV or media monitoring platforms and technology.
• Detail-oriented with keen ability to spot non-compliant and unsuitable content.
• Capability to function efficiently in a demanding 24/7 shift schedule.
• Proficient communication skills for documentation and reporting tasks.
• Basic understanding of broadcast monitoring tools and software.
• Ability to maintain focus over long periods of continuous monitoring.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to promptly escalate and handle issues.
