Job Overview
The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Manager at Qualiquant Services LTD will play a critical role in strengthening and overseeing the M&E systems of projects. Reporting to the Technical Director and situated within the Management unit, the role requires strategic planning, meticulous data handling, and insightful evaluation to support project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance in M&E planning and methodologies.
- Engage in project design activities, including formulating theories of change and strategic frameworks such as Results Frameworks and Logical Frameworks.
- Develop comprehensive Monitoring and Evaluation plans.
- Identify and establish performance and impact indicators along with targets.
- Contribute to proposal preparations incorporating M&E components.
- Implement monitoring systems and create relevant monitoring tools.
- Design and develop data collection instruments.
- Track project activities, outputs, and progress toward objectives.
- Utilize data platforms, databases, and technological tools for effective data capture and organization.
- Train and coach field staff on monitoring and evaluation practices.
- Conduct or assist in data quality assessments to ensure reliability.
- Determine appropriate data analysis methodologies, using quantitative and qualitative tools.
- Clean, organize, and categorize collected data for analysis.
- Analyze data sets and summarize key findings.
- Prepare regular reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) tailored to project needs.
- Share evaluation outcomes and project results with donors and stakeholders.
- Lead or support internal and external evaluations, managing consultants and drafting scopes of work when needed.
- Conduct program analyses or special studies as required.
- Support knowledge management by contributing to institutional learning, facilitating communities of practice, and monitoring M&E best practices.
