Job description
Role Overview
Equans seeks a Mobile Caretaker to operate across various locations within the Lancashire & Blackburn Schools Project. This permanent, full-time position involves working 37.5 hours weekly with a salary offering of £25,954.50 per year alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
Shift Details
The working schedule is Monday to Friday with any 8-hour shift starting between 5:30 AM and 10:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine caretaking duties, including cleaning and basic maintenance.
- Assist with site security by managing opening and closing procedures.
- Build and maintain positive interactions with school staff and community users.
- Ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality services.
- Support compliance with health and safety standards.
Collaboration
You will work closely with the Area Supervisor to support service delivery across the various sites.
Essential Requirements
- Must successfully complete an enhanced DBS check as part of employment clearance.
- Dependable and proactive work attitude.
- Strong communication and customer service capabilities.
- Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- Dedication to upholding a safe and secure environment.
- Possession of a full UK driving license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in caretaking, facility management, or maintenance roles.
- Experience in supervising or assisting others.
- Basic understanding of building maintenance and systems.
- Awareness of health and safety regulations.
