Microsoft 365 Security Specialist

Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Security Specialist to enhance the cybersecurity framework of our hybrid and cloud environments and secure our digital assets. This role involves managing broad security operations alongside specialized administration and enhancement of our Microsoft ecosystem, including Entra ID, Intune, email security, and endpoint protection solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain Zero Trust principles for Identity and Access Management, including governance and enforcement of multi-factor authentication, conditional access policies, and role-based access controls.
• Protect endpoints on various platforms using unified device management tools such as MDM/MAM, configure deployment baselines, and administer Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions.
• Manage and uphold email security frameworks to guard against phishing and spoofing, overseeing primary authentication protocols including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
• Conduct continuous security monitoring, analyze threats, respond promptly to security incidents, and elevate the security posture through strengthened hardening standards.
• Support policy compliance, vulnerability assessments, and foster a culture of security awareness and best practices throughout the organization.

Required Qualifications

• Expertise in establishing and managing Identity and Access Management controls aligned with Zero Trust models.
• Proven skills in securing endpoints via comprehensive device management and security technologies across platforms.
• Experience in deploying and maintaining email security mechanisms to prevent common threat vectors.
• Strong capabilities in security incident monitoring, threat detection, and response strategies.
• Adept at assisting in compliance enforcement and promoting organizational security standards and awareness.
