Position: Microbiology Lab Supervisor
Employment Type: Full-time, one-year contract
Location: Alghad College, Najran campus
Working hours: 48 hours per week

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or Biology.
• At least two years of academic experience in the relevant field.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to implementing the college's vision, mission, and goals.
• Oversee and ensure students acquire practical and clinical skills in laboratory courses.
• Participate in developing college programs and operational procedures.
• Engage in committees and college activities.
• Maintain order within laboratories.
• Perform required quality assurance tasks and prepare reports to verify students' competency in practical skills.
• Handle administrative and academic duties alongside assigned teaching loads.
• Encourage healthy competition and foster innovation and creativity among students to achieve excellence.
• Keep students updated with the latest developments in their field.
• Protect the college's reputation, property, and ensure student safety and orderliness.
• Dedicate full-time effort to college responsibilities.
• Adhere strictly to Saudi Arabia's laws, regulations, and policies, avoiding involvement in religious or political matters.
• Supervise and monitor students throughout daily training hours as per academic schedules.
• Verify students' application of scientific and clinical skills according to course curricula.
• Submit weekly reports for course instructor approval and share copies with the college's quality unit.
• Attend orientation and periodic meetings with students in coordination with course instructors, department heads, and training supervisors.
• Provide reports to the department head for approval and share with the training unit.
• Participate in academic workshops with department head approval.
• Ensure students master clinical skills as per the approved training plan.
