Job Overview

The role involves managing the entire export merchandising process for hard goods and home decor products, ensuring seamless coordination between production, quality assurance, and buyers to meet timelines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete export merchandising cycle, including product development, sample handling, cost calculation, and order fulfillment.
• Liaise with overseas buyers and internal departments to secure timely approvals and ensure prompt delivery schedules.
• Monitor production progress, manage Time and Action (T&A) calendars, and guarantee shipment deadlines are adhered to.
• Develop product costing and assist in negotiating pricing effectively.
• Ensure buyer compliance regarding quality standards, packaging norms, and necessary testing protocols.
• Collaborate closely with production teams, quality control, and suppliers to achieve smooth order execution.
• Maintain accurate merchandising documentation through Excel and ERP platforms.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of three years' experience in export merchandising focused on Home Furnishings, Home Decor, Furniture, Handicrafts, or hard goods product segments.
• In-depth understanding of product development processes, sample production, costing methods, production scheduling, and order management.
• Familiarity with materials such as wood, metal, ceramics, glass, and various hard goods.
