Merchandiser

Role Overview

We are looking for a diligent and proactive Merchandiser to facilitate coordination among buyers, production divisions, and suppliers. This position involves overseeing order management, ensuring consistent follow-up, and maintaining fluid communication among all relevant parties to guarantee smooth operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with buyers and internal departments to oversee flawless execution of orders.
• Gain a thorough understanding of product specifications and manage sample development stages.
• Follow through with production, sampling, and quality control teams for progress updates.
• Monitor order progress, deadlines, and delivery timelines strictly.
• Supervise the sampling process, including creation and necessary approvals.
• Maintain detailed order logs, Excel-based tracking sheets, and reporting documentation.
• Coordinate procurement of fabrics, trims, and other essential materials with suppliers.
• Ensure effective communication channels between the factory floor and office management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve daily production or order-related challenges promptly.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Two to four years of merchandising experience, preferably within garment manufacturing or the export industry.
• Strong interpersonal and coordination capabilities.
• Excellent follow-up skills coupled with a problem-solving mindset.
• Basic proficiency in MS Excel and report generation.
• Capability to perform efficiently in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment.

Preferred Profile

• Prior experience in garment production or working within export houses.
• Familiarity with sampling processes and production lifecycle stages.
• Proven background in buyer interaction and coordination.

Education

A graduate degree in any field is required.

Work Location and Conditions

The position is based at Noida Sector 63 and requires working from the office.

Compensation

The role offers a monthly salary up to ₹25,000.
