Role Overview

This full-time, on-site Merchandiser role is based in Jaipur and involves organizing and planning product displays, maintaining appropriate stock quantities, and enhancing the visual appeal across retail and wholesale outlets. Key responsibilities include liaising with sales and marketing departments, tracking product performance, and recommending enhancements to product mix and pricing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Visit retail sites regularly to monitor competitor activities and gather customer and market feedback.
• Prepare basic sales trend and inventory reports to support business decisions.
• Assist promotional campaigns and product launch events to bolster brand recognition and sales.
• Maintain productive relationships with store teams and customers to encourage sales growth and brand loyalty.

Candidate Profile

• Possess excellent communication abilities for clear interaction with colleagues and external partners.
• Exhibit strong customer service skills to address inquiries and foster positive buyer and store personnel relations.
• Have knowledge and skills in sales, retail operations, and merchandising to manage product placement and support store activities.
• Familiar with marketing concepts to aid in promotion and merchandising strategies.
• Detail-conscious, well-organized, and adaptable to frequent store and market visits on-site in Jaipur.
• Basic proficiency with inventory control, reporting, and MS Office or comparable software tools is an asset.
• Prior experience in merchandising or related sectors such as retail or FMCG is advantageous.
• Educational background in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or similar fields through diploma or degree is preferred but not compulsory.
