Medical Billing Manager

About the Role

ResPro Health, LLC is looking for a precise and driven Medical Billing Manager to become part of its expanding healthcare team. The primary responsibility is to manage unpaid or denied insurance claims, ensuring accurate and prompt reimbursement for medical services provided. The role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and comfort working independently in a remote yet cooperative setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and follow up on outstanding medical insurance claims and unpaid balances.
• Investigate denied or underpaid claims and implement corrective measures.
• Engage with insurance companies regarding claim status, appeals, eligibilities, and payment issues.
• Submit amended claims and appeals promptly.
• Keep precise records of account activities and follow-up actions.
• Collaborate with billing, coding, and administrative teams to resolve claim discrepancies.
• Analyze denial patterns and propose improvements to processes.
• Comply with HIPAA standards and all applicable healthcare billing regulations.
• Manage multiple accounts and deadlines while achieving productivity and quality targets.

Requirements

• Must possess Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification.
• Prior experience in medical billing, insurance follow-up, or revenue cycle management preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR platforms and medical billing software required.
• Knowledge of insurance rules, CPT/ICD-10 coding, and payer criteria.
• Experience with processing appeals and claims denial resolutions.
• Current employees must have at least 6 months of service with ResPro.
• Preferred qualifications include strong computer skills, excellent problem-solving, multitasking, verbal and written communication abilities, teamwork, remote work capability, keen attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage priorities independently.
• A clean background check is mandatory.
