Job Summary
This position involves joining a maintenance team that covers shifts within a continuous 24/7 operation. The technician ensures all tasks meet company standards while supporting engineering teams to maximize resource efficiency to achieve safety, productivity, quality, cost control, and service goals. A core objective is to aid the team in meeting site Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) targets and continuous improvements.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to meet OEE targets using operational excellence tools and proper governance.
- Analyze line performance elements such as run rates, change-overs, and SKU sequences to support improvements.
- Proactively initiate continuous improvement efforts related to line operations and equipment.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks and log completion updates in SAP CMMS.
- Respond to reactive equipment breakdowns, documenting corrective actions and supporting follow-up reviews.
- Ensure detailed documentation during shift handovers.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Practical experience in engineering, technical, or facilities maintenance, with a demonstrated history of effective maintenance delivery preferred.
- Background working in a strategic, KPI-focused manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with applicable Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation and regulations.
- Preferably mechanical expertise; however, candidates with cross-skills in electrical areas and a proactive attitude will be considered.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.
- Experience with PLC and SCADA systems is advantageous.

Education and Credentials
