Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an engaging, inquiry-driven classroom atmosphere that encourages students to find joy in learning mathematics.
- Maintain close communication with students, offer prompt feedback to parents, and actively support students’ academic progress.
- Contribute to centre promotional efforts, including generating YouTube content and authoring articles for outreach.
- Possess knowledge of typical question formats and prevailing trends related to PSLE, O-Level, A-Level, and Math Olympiad competitions such as RMO, APMOPS, NMOS, and SMO, which is considered advantageous.
- Assist with other teaching duties and participate in collaborative team activities as assigned by the centre.
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university like NUS, NTU, or SMU, or an equivalent institution.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged and welcome to apply.
- Applicants of all nationalities are considered; sponsorship for work passes is provided.
- No prior teaching experience is necessary, as comprehensive training and mentoring are offered.
- Demonstrate responsibility, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous self-improvement.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for working closely with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Availability to commit to teaching on weekdays (including evenings) and weekends, noting that most classes occur on weekends.
Compensation and Benefits
- Performance-driven salary enhancements, with top educators earning up to S$11,960 monthly.
- A guaranteed additional teaching allowance of S$1,000 per month during the initial three-month probation period.
