Role Overview

This position is centered on end-to-end bid and proposal management within the global sales operations function. The role requires coordinating customer offers, managing proposal workflows, aligning internal teams, and ensuring submissions are completed accurately, on time, and in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle customer bids, prepare tailored offers, and respond to proactive proposal requests and RFx documents.
  • Work across teams internally to drive coordinated support and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Take full ownership of the complete offer-management cycle and guide the bid team using approved processes so deadlines, approvals, and team alignment are maintained.
  • Manage bid capture planning, monitor overall progress, and use company resources efficiently while planning ahead to keep submissions on schedule and customers satisfied.
  • Assess bid opportunities at the right stages using standard tools, document the outcome, and escalate when needed to support sound bid qualification.
  • Keep all bid documentation current and compliant so records remain complete and auditable.
  • Maintain the bid risk register, define mitigation actions, and surface issues or risks to the right stakeholders.
  • Store all bid-related materials in the correct systems while meeting security and compliance requirements.
  • Stay informed about products, services, market competition, and telecom industry trends.
  • Support contract discussions with legal, sales, commercial leadership, and the customer when required.
  • Lead the bid handover to the delivery team and prepare post-bid review and handover files to ensure knowledge transfer and process completeness.
  • Serve as the escalation contact for bid-related issues and drive resolution.
  • Operate with limited supervision and request support when appropriate.
  • Prepare and review customized reports for senior leaders and other stakeholders on a recurring basis.

Technical Competencies

  • Manage bid activity and resources for a specific region and/or country.
  • Support bid qualification and work with sales teams on bid/no-bid decisions, strategy, and partnering choices.
  • Own customer bids and lead the bid plan across the full bid cycle.
  • Drive effective bid qualification and secure all required approvals for successful completion.
  • Oversee customer proposal production, ensuring a strong win strategy and timely delivery of persuasive proposals that clearly present the solution and customer value.
  • Allocate available resources effectively to meet customer and submission demands.
  • Use MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, Salesforce.com, and content libraries.
  • Apply project and program management methods to deliver within agreed cost, timeline, and quality targets, including change, risk, and issue management.
  • Create quality checklists and performance tracking mechanisms for proposal and documentation quality.
  • Maintain an average feedback score of 4 out of 5 for all proposals.
  • APMP accreditation is preferred.
