Manager - Data Modeling

Role Overview

The senior Data Modeling Specialist will be accountable for designing and executing comprehensive data models that integrate all information centralized by the CDU team. Current datasets include cost information from Prism, scheduling data from Primavera P6, risk metrics from Arm, document metadata from Aconex, as well as various in-house spreadsheets and databases managed by Qiddiya.

The incumbent will advance the current PowerBI data model by expanding its functionality, improving usability, and broadening its analytical scope to meet the requirements of the Qiddiya development division.

Key Responsibilities

• Refine and expand the existing data model strategy to cover all facets of development analysis and reporting.
• Deliver precise data requirements to data owners, ensuring proper data tagging for integration into models.
• Lead and coordinate the data modeling team comprising AI modelers, LLM modelers, and database technicians by assigning tasks strategically.
• Provide expert advisement on data modeling best practices and suggest enhancements to the Data Modeling and Performance & Analytics Director.
• Collaborate with the Data Office to uphold governance standards over data and reporting processes.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Proven expertise in system development and integrating software solutions within established environments.
• Experience merging existing software packages and developing workflows with automated processes to improve data capture.
• Capability to interact effectively with stakeholders across various experience levels and communicate technical solutions clearly.
• Track record of evaluating individual and team performance to boost efficiency and encourage professional growth.
• Ability to operate within large organizational structures to successfully achieve set deliverables and maintain trusted service delivery.
• Collaborative team player who maintains clear communication with internal teams and external partners.
• Academic background in information services and/or data analytics.
• Demonstrated experience working within owner's teams for large, complex organizations.
