Manager (Continuous Education & Development) - Digital and Intelligence Service

Role Overview

This position involves overseeing the operations of the Digital and Intelligence Service (DIS) Training Command hub and spearheading the creation and development of strategic collaborations to foster continuous learning. The manager will be responsible for proposing, designing, and executing development plans to establish the hub's functions, handling all matters related to training development, and managing diverse hub operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate outreach strategies to maximize learning prospects and strategically prioritize partnerships with external organizations.
• Act as the primary liaison between the Service and external parties, establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships.
• Assess cross-domain and DIS-wide training needs and create training programs and accreditation options beyond traditional schooling to meet these needs.
• Prepare reports analyzing external studies, focusing on their advantages, course offerings, and applicability to DIS training requirements.
• Conduct feasibility analyses to support transformative initiatives within the hub and the wider DIS training framework.

Challenges

• Consistently interpreting and simplifying complex, fragmented, and fast-changing technical requirements into clear and actionable training plans.
• Critically assessing the value of external learning solutions including content quality, delivery methods, and provider effectiveness, while maintaining a comprehensive grasp of diverse training demands.

Candidate Profile

• Educational background in any field.
• Preferred previous experience in training, curriculum design, or related areas.
• Strong command of English with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Basic proficiency in Information Technology skills.
