About the Role

As a Maintenance Assistant at Dalata Hotel Group, you'll be trained at our Dalata Academy to develop essential skills and supported by experienced colleagues who will guide your professional growth. Key Responsibilities

• Effectively manage daily maintenance tasks including painting, decorating, and gardening using available resources.
• Conduct preventative maintenance routines in areas such as tiling, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Diagnose and resolve problems related to equipment and control systems.
• Support plumbers and electricians in addressing issues affecting hotel systems.
• Collaborate closely with all hotel departments to ensure operational efficiency.
• Ensure all maintenance work adheres to professional quality and safety standards.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and HACCP procedures rigorously.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Hospitality experience is advantageous but not required.
• Possession of Safe Pass certification is beneficial.
• Trade qualifications in painting, plumbing, construction, or similar fields are preferred.
• Self-motivated with strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple duties effectively.
• Detail-focused with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Capability to handle tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
• Flexible availability for varying work hours.
• Proficient in English communication.
