Job Overview and Responsibilities
The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for managing both inbound and outbound shipments efficiently. You will track orders and oversee delivery timelines to ensure smooth operations. Maintaining precise inventory and shipment documentation is essential. This role requires active communication with carriers, vendors, and customers about shipment progress. Problem-solving skills are important to address and resolve any shipping discrepancies or delivery challenges. Ensuring adherence to company policies and transportation regulations is a crucial part of the role. Additionally, you will support logistics reporting and contribute to continuous process enhancements.
Qualifications
- Preferably 1 to 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or transportation sectors.
- Excellent organizational capabilities coupled with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with logistics or ERP software platforms.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
