Loan Officer

About the Role

The Loan Officer is tasked with evaluating and processing client applications for loans tailored to their financial situations, while ensuring adherence to company policies and lending laws. This position requires in-depth review of loan applications, thorough financial data analysis, and delivering outstanding customer service during the entire lending process.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and process loan submissions with precision and efficiency.
• Examine applicants’ financial records, credit histories, and collateral to determine if they qualify for loans.
• Conduct physical verification of client information and assets.
• Assess client eligibility for specific loan products.
• Ensure all loan paperwork meets organizational and regulatory compliance requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related disciplines is preferred.
• Prior experience in roles such as Loan Officer or Loan Processor is advantageous.
• Thorough understanding of credit assessment, lending procedures, and financial analysis.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service capabilities.
• Familiarity with loan origination platforms and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• NMLS certification or willingness to acquire it.
