Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Writing Expert for a contract role offering remote, flexible work. The position involves reviewing and enhancing AI-produced text across various formats including plays, novels, short stories, articles, essays, tweets, podcasts, lectures, and late night show scripts.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and polish AI-generated creative content ensuring literary excellence, consistent tone, proper structure, and thematic richness.
• Deliver comprehensive editorial critiques to improve clarity, coherence, and originality.
• Utilize your literary background to advance AI capabilities for generating sophisticated, high-quality narratives.
• Highlight strengths in storytelling, stylistic accuracy, and editorial discernment, leveraging experience with published and award-winning works.
• Operate independently, managing projects asynchronously with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Over a decade of involvement in creative writing disciplines including playwriting, journalism, essays, novel writing, short stories, and social media content.
• Proven expertise in managing social media campaigns, especially on platforms like X/Twitter.
• Robust portfolio featuring published novels, plays, or multiple short stories in respected outlets.
• Contributions to distinguished literary publications, journals, anthologies, or professional productions.
• Recipient of notable literary awards, fellowships, or honors in relevant fields.
• Mastery of narrative techniques such as structure, voice, dialogue, and character articulation across diverse content types.
• Exceptional skills in critiquing and refining written material with emphasis on style, coherence, and thematic depth.
