Public Affairs Ireland (PAI) has established itself as a reliable provider of professional development, conferences, and educational solutions tailored for the public sector in Ireland. For more than two decades, the organisation has collaborated with a variety of public bodies, including government departments, local authorities, healthcare organisations, and regulators, to enhance leadership skills, professional practices, and overall organisational effectiveness.
Role Overview
As our educational offerings expand, we are searching for a seasoned Learning & Capability Lead. This senior role demands expertise in learning design, superior facilitation capabilities, a strong commitment to quality and continual enhancement, along with the aptitude to build trust and strong connections with our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on emerging issues and best practices in the public sector.
- Create and implement innovative professional development programmes and events.
- Utilise established methodologies including adult learning principles, instructional design, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and evaluation techniques to produce engaging and measurable learning experiences.
- Advocate for quality assurance and continuous improvement throughout PAI's training portfolio.
- Provide mentorship and support to our team of associate facilitators.
- Develop and maintain trustworthy client relationships and identify future opportunities for learning solutions.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive experience in Learning & Development, Executive Education, or Organisational Development.
- Demonstrated capability in researching, designing, and developing superior professional learning programmes.
- Deep understanding of instructional design, adult education theories, and learning evaluation methods.
- Outstanding communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management abilities.
- Enthusiastic about learning, innovation, and ongoing development.
Additional Information
This is a part-time position, requiring three days per week, based at our Dublin (Blackrock) office. The role offers a competitive salary aligned with its seniority and the commitment level.
