Position Overview
The role, based in the Industrial Supply Division within the MRO Logistics Department at FLTREADCEN Southeast, involves leading supply management and physical inventory accuracy initiatives as a Lead Supply Management Specialist (Inventory Auditor).
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the physical inventory accuracy program by designing annual and quarterly audit plans, improving audit techniques, and coordinating with multiple internal teams to ensure effective scheduling.
- Examine systemic challenges that impact inventory accuracy, assess internal controls, and formulate corrective strategies to resolve identified issues.
- Compile and present detailed audit reports to leadership, acting as a subject matter expert in inventory accuracy and control measures.
- Lead a team responsible for conducting physical inventories, location audits, and evaluating material conditions.
- Perform thorough investigations and reconcile complex differences found between physical inventory counts and Navy ERP (SAP) system records.
Compensation
- Salary ranges from 89,508 to 116,362 annually.
