Role Overview
As a Lead Business Intelligence Analyst, you will design and maintain detailed dashboards and reports to monitor sales performance metrics, uncover trends, and deliver actionable insights across segments like merchant acquisition, retention, growth, and regional performance. You will proactively identify areas for process enhancements and revenue expansion, presenting clear recommendations to sales leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain analytical models and reports tracking critical sales indicators.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to provide strategic recommendations for improving sales operations.
- Support sales forecasting, capacity planning, and target setting through robust data analysis and statistical modeling.
- Work closely with data engineering and BI teams to ensure data quality, accessibility, and scalable solutions; utilize SQL, Python, Tableau, and Power BI for data processing and visualization.
- Investigate sales funnel dynamics, conversion rates, and cycle efficiency to identify and resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Execute focused analyses to address urgent business questions with timely, data-driven insights.
Preferred Qualifications
- Over 5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Intelligence, or Data Analytics focusing on sales performance.
- Industry experience in Grocery, Retail, E-commerce, or Q-commerce sectors is strongly preferred.
- Proficient in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and advanced data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms like Salesforce and comprehensive understanding of sales data architecture.
- Outstanding analytical and quantitative capabilities with meticulous attention to data accuracy.
- Strong communication skills for effectively conveying complex analytical insights to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to foster cross-functional collaboration and influence decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields; a Master's or MBA from a reputed institution is advantageous.
