About the Role
Join a dynamic team at GAP Group Limited as a Labourer within our high-performing Plant & Tool Division based in Kilmarnock, Scotland. This position involves maintaining a safe, orderly workshop and yard environment, preparing plant machinery for hire, and supporting operations to ensure top-notch service delivery to clients in construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workshop and yard areas.
- Clean plant equipment and organize storage efficiently.
- Refuel machinery and meticulously record fuel usage.
- Perform quality inspections on equipment prior to dispatch.
- Support general workshop operations as required.
- Assist with vehicle loading/unloading and driving tasks, depending on license qualifications.
- Operate forklift when necessary.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous labourer experience, preferably within hire depot or similar yard settings.
- Excellent team collaborator who proactively supports colleagues.
- Capable of working independently and demonstrating initiative.
- Strong focus on detail and safety compliance.
- Possession of CSCS card, forklift certification, and driving license is advantageous.
