About the Role

This position involves maintaining a safe, orderly workshop and yard environment, preparing plant machinery for hire, and supporting operations to ensure top-notch service delivery to clients in construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workshop and yard areas.
• Clean plant equipment and organize storage efficiently.
• Refuel machinery and meticulously record fuel usage.
• Perform quality inspections on equipment prior to dispatch.
• Support general workshop operations as required.
• Assist with vehicle loading/unloading and driving tasks, depending on license qualifications.
• Operate forklift when necessary.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous labourer experience, preferably within hire depot or similar yard settings.
• Excellent team collaborator who proactively supports colleagues.
• Capable of working independently and demonstrating initiative.
• Strong focus on detail and safety compliance.
• Possession of CSCS card, forklift certification, and driving license is advantageous.
