Role Overview

This is a six-month contract opportunity in London, Ontario, with potential for extension or conversion to permanent status. The Labourer position plays an essential part in our daily yard operations, supporting vehicle dismantling and recycling efforts. This role suits hands-on individuals with a passion for vehicles looking to engage in physical work within a team environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Extract and examine used tires from vehicles stored on-site
• Remove tires safely from rims using both hand tools and machinery
• Sort and inspect rims to determine suitability for resale or scrap processing
• Organize and stack rims and tires in their designated storage locations
• Support general yard upkeep by clearing debris, scrap materials, and unusable vehicle parts

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience working in general labor or related fields
• Physical capability to lift weights up to 50 pounds frequently
• Ability to maintain productivity in a fast-paced work setting
• Dependability and eagerness to learn multiple facets of the business
• Comfortable operating outdoors regardless of weather conditions
